Commercial & industrial

50 kWp to 5 MWp, delivered under one contract.

We take commercial schemes from half-hourly data analysis and roof survey through design, DNO application, procurement, installation and commissioning — then maintain them. One contract, one accountable party.

Capacity

What changes as the system gets bigger

The engineering, the grid process and the programme all shift with scale. Here is roughly where the lines fall.

50–250 kWp

Single warehouse, workshop or retail roof. Usually G99 connection, often no grid reinforcement needed. 2–4 weeks on site.

250 kWp–1 MWp

Multi-roof or large distribution units. Structural survey and half-hourly data modelling drive the design. 4–10 weeks on site, phased around operations.

1–5 MWp

Ground-mount and large industrial estates. Grid connection studies, land and planning work run in parallel with the design.

Return on investment

How we build the payback case

  • Half-hourly data first. We ask for 12 months of HH data from your supplier before designing anything. It shows how much generation lands inside your demand rather than going to export.
  • Your tariff, not an average. Savings are modelled against your contracted unit rate and standing charges, with a sensitivity range either side rather than one optimistic number.
  • Whole-life costs included. Inverter replacement, O&M, cleaning and insurance are in the model. So is a conservative annual degradation allowance on module output.
  • Capital allowances. Solar assets generally qualify for capital allowances; the treatment depends on your circumstances, so we ask you to confirm the position with your accountant before it goes into the business case.

Scope

What the EPC contract covers

  • Feasibility and yield modelling (PVsyst)
  • Structural survey and roof-load calculations
  • Planning support where required
  • G99 / G100 applications and DNO liaison
  • Procurement and logistics
  • Installation, testing and commissioning
  • Half-hourly metering and monitoring
  • O&M contracts with response SLAs

Recent work

Case study teasers

480 kWp rooftop

Food manufacturer, Telford

1,120 panels across three production-hall roofs, installed in four phases without stopping a shift. Around 62% of generation is consumed on site during operating hours.

310 kWp rooftop

Cold-storage depot, Wakefield

Roof-load calculations governed the layout; ballasted non-penetrating mounting on a single-ply membrane, with the membrane warranty preserved.

1.2 MWp ground-mount

Arable estate, Lincolnshire

Grid connection secured before ground works. Sheep grazing retained under the array on a 2.1 m panel clearance.
